Snath for children. You can adjust the snath grips to your child's height starting from about 5 years of age. Minimum height of the lower grip is 50 cm above the ground.
High endurance is ensured by the design respecting the years of beech wood.
The snath set includes the scythe ring for attaching the scythe to the snath. The most suitable blade length for this snath is Fux Hartstahl 60 cm.
Included is a wooden wedge for adjusting the angle of the scythe (either for mowing or for trimming in confined spaces).
The snath is designed for use with the Austrian Schroeckenfux scythes sold in our e-shop but of course it can be also used with any other common scythe. The angles may differ however and may have to be adjusted by means of the wooden wedge.
Explanation of the items included in the package together with the snath:
1 – Lower grip, 2 – bolt with washers and a barrel nut (already fitted in the grip) for attaching the lower grip to the snath, 3 – wooden wedges for adjusting the blade angle to the ground, 4 – Allen key for tightening the scythe ring, 5 – scythe ring, 6 – wrench size 10/11 for tightening the upper grip, 7 – upper grip with a bolt, washer and nut
